E. Placemaking Wayside Spring for Community Use

This project will install a historical sign and community message board, repoint the stairs for safer access, add a handrail, and remove invasive bamboo, replacing it with native pollinators to improve ecological resilience and support local wildlife.

F. Install Trash Weir for Reedy Creek to Reduce Litter and Pollution

This project will install a trash weir at 44th Street to capture litter before it flows into Reedy Creek, helping protect the James River and Chesapeake Bay from pollution. THIS PROJECT IS SPLIT BETWEEN DISTRICTS 4 AND 9

C. Install Speed Tables in 4th District to Calm Traffic

This project will install traffic calming speed tables on Bliley Rd, Cherokee Rd, Old Westham Rd, and Dorchester Rd (between Forest Hill Ave & Jahnke Rd). These improvements will help reduce speeding and improve roadway safety.

A. Improve Sidewalks in 4th District

This project will add new sidewalks and repair existing ones in key areas across the 4th District, including Stratford Hills, Bliley Rd, Westower Rd, Dorchester Rd, Forest Hill Terrace, and Clarence St. These improvements will enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility.

D. Enhance Bus Stops in 4th District

This project will add benches and trash cans at bus stops in the 4th District and install weatherized shelters at high-traffic stops, making transit more comfortable and accessible.

B. Improve Crosswalks for Pedestrian Safety in 4th District

This project will install raised crosswalks with flashing pedestrian signs on Forest Hill Ave and 48th St. It will also add painted crosswalks and flashing signs on Westover Hills Blvd at Reedy St to improve pedestrian safety in high-traffic areas.
