F. Plant Flowers and Landscaping Along Midlothian Corridor

This project will plant and maintain perennial native flowers in the medians of the 6700, 6200, and 6100 blocks of Midlothian Turnpike to beautify the corridor and support pollinators.

This project will install trash cans at bus stop in the 9th District to reduce litter, improve sanitation, enhance neighborhood aesthetics, and promote cleaner, healthier public spaces.

I. Install Trash Weir for Reedy Creek to Reduce Litter and Pollution

This project will install a trash weir at 44th Street to capture litter before it flows into Reedy Creek, helping protect the James River and Chesapeake Bay from pollution. This project is split between districts 4 and 9

G. Build a Covered Skate Area for All-Weather Use at Southside Community Center

This project will install a pavilion-style roof over the skate park at the Southside Community Center to provide shade and allow for all-weather use.

This project will add a speed table on Alaska Avenue to reduce speeding and enhance safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

This project will add/ repair sidewalks along Jahnke Road up to Forest Hill Avenue to improve pedestrian accessibility and safety.

This project will add additional lighting and repair sidewalks along Orcutt Lane to enhance pedestrian safety for transit riders and residents walking in the area.

D. Enhance Bus Stop with Seating and Shelter at Broad Rock Blvd and Warwick Road

This project will install a covered, shaded bus shelter with seating to improve rider comfort and accessibility at this high-traffic stop.
