Investment in land and property to create businesses that generate income for communities denied traditional homeownership, access to capital, education, and employment

   

Urban Farming and Food Equity ($7,000,000)

Leasing green spaces for community food production, fostering locally owned businesses, increasing access to fresh food, and training small-scale farmers.

   

Financial Support for Families in Need ($500,000)

One-time emergency funding for families experiencing financial strain.

   

Mental Health

Resources Navigators ($2,000,000)

Support for those seeking mental health services, making it easier for individuals to access mental health and wellness services, especially during crises or when struggling with mental health.

   

Mental Health Matters ($2,000,000)

Restorative and healing-centered projects for mental health and behavioral health providers to provide culturally appropriate and informed community mental health coverage, access, and supports.

   

Culturally Curated Wellness ($2,000,000)

Funding grassroots groups for diverse community wellness initiatives like events, personal development, and intergenerational healing to improve quality of life.

Behavioral health programming and support for youth and young adults.

   

Housing & Physical Space

Housing Support ($2,000,000)

Providing housing navigation and assistance services to those in need.

   

24/7 Public Restrooms ($7,200,000)

Increasing the number of 24-hour bathrooms and hygiene facilities.

   

Indoor Skate and Community Space ($5,000,000)

Creating a low-cost indoor skating rink. That will also serve as a space to foster community connections in a way that is accessible to everyone.

   

Crisis & Wellness

Housing Support for Youth ($2,000,000)

Connect youth and young adults with supportive housing or rental assistance, while also convening and compensating a youth committee to oversee outreach efforts and resource connections.

   

Wellness and Safety Services ($500,000)

Supporting collaboratives and programs that specialize in providing safe access to harm reduction and testing services, improving access to essential supplies, healthcare, and counseling.

   

People Not Police Crisis Response Team ($2,000,000)

Funding for trained mental health professionals to be first responders to mental health crises.

   

Here to Help ($2,000,000)

Creating support networks for marginalized communities, offering mutual aid, peer support, and culturally sensitive counseling.
