Welcome to the Participatory Budgeting electronic ballot for the 29th Ward in Chicago (PB29) courtesy of the Stanford Crowdsourced Democracy Team.

On this website, you can familiarize yourself with the project proposals for this year's Ward 29 Participatory Budgeting vote. You will be deciding how you want to allocate $1 million of the ward's capital improvement budget for 2020.

You will first select the percentage of the 2020 29th Ward aldermanic menu budget to be devoted exclusively to street resurfacing. Second, you will be asked to select three (3) projects to decide how the remainder of the 2020 29th Ward aldermanic menu budget should be allocated. You may choose up to three (3) projects.

Please note that you cannot use this website to actually cast your vote! Instead, you need to come to one of the many voting sites that will be located through the ward or contact the ward to register and request a code to vote online.

Voting is open to all residents of the Ward ages 14 and up, regardless of citizenship status. Please see times and locations below.
