Welcome to the Participatory Budgeting electronic sample ballot for the 45th Ward in Chicago (PB45), courtesy of the Stanford Crowdsourced Democracy Team. By participating in the PB45 election, you can help decide how to spend public funds on community projects in the 45th Ward.

The following pages will help you familiarize yourself with the project proposals for 2017. You will first select the percentage of the 2017 45th Ward aldermanic menu budget to be devoted exclusively to street resurfacing. Second, you will decide how the remainder of the 45th Ward’s menu money should be allocated. You may choose up to six (6) projects.

Please note that you cannot use this website to actually cast your vote! Instead, you need to come to one of the many voting sites that will be located through the ward. Voting is open to all residents of the Ward ages 14 and up, regardless of citizenship status. Please see times and locations below.

If you don't have an access code for voting, please complete an online registration form at http://bit.ly/2zdcXwA or call 773-286-4545 to receive an access code.
