Introducing EmpowerED – the ultimate crash course in adulting! Get ready to level up your life with workshops and hands-on experiences that are all about making you a pro at this whole "being a grown-up" thing. With EmpowerED, you won't just hear or read about life skills – you'll practice them in real-life scenarios, get expert mentorship from field professionals, and receive a sewing kit, tool kit, basic first aid kit, essential meal prep items and a small herb garden box. EmpowerED will dive into Daily Life Hacks and Personal Growth Power-Ups. Daily Life Hack sessions will cover everything from managing your laundry, removing stains and odors, grocery shopping on a budget, upgrading your kitchen skills and handling your finances. Summer Full of Art Program

Our youth ages 8-13 need a safe and supportive environment to grow, learn and develop creatively. This program allows youth to explore their creativity through: painting, drawing, creating vision boards, clay making, photography and free admission to local museums. The inclusiveness of our program (for youth with all abilities) teaches awareness, acceptance, community building and effective life-skills. This program will inspire youth to follow a new found passion in art and/or leave with the tools to use art as therapy, healthy self expression and as a wellness outlet. Devotion Fitness will offer 12 weeks of outdoor Boxing, Sound Baths, and Picnic-Paint & Skate Nights this summer! Our programs help young adults navigate life by relieving stress, providing an inclusive space to exercise, and create lifelong community - our organization is LGBTQ+, People of Color, and Women operated because we reflect who we serve. The Career CruiserLB Youth Transport program provides a weekly accessible and reliable transport service to support the youth and emerging adults of Long Beach to assist in getting to a weekly career workshop, job fairs, hiring events, networking opportunities, visiting corporate campuses and other job search activities. This weekly transport service will be provided to all those keen to participate in a weekly Career Workshop which will prepare you to become a competitive applicant in the employment process. At this workshop you will learn to write a great resume, explore career paths such as STEM opportunities, take part in mock interviews where we will role play, gain knowledge on tools and hiring technology, review job boards and most importantly we will help you build the skills and confidence needed to land a great job, internship or perhaps even explore further education. We will have guest speakers where you get to ask questions on their careers. The job market is super competitive, so the more knowledge you have, the stronger the chances of being hired into a job that will be the beginning of a great career. Become your best self and get that bag! Learn to be your best self in our summer enrichment program. Through mentorship, workshops, activities, and field trips, you will learn skills from one of our four entrepreneurial fields: makeup artistry, Fashion/modeling, photography/videography, and Crafting 101-Jewelry, Cricut(t-shirt/hat making), button making, etc. Our program will also help you develop a better understanding of the effects of bullying and suicide and how to empower yourself through Holistic practices.
