Welcome to the participatory budgeting (PB) ballot for Long Beach Council District 9, courtesy of the Stanford Crowdsourced Democracy Team.

On this website, you can familiarize yourself with the project proposals on the PB ballot. Note: this website is only informational, and you cannot cast your actual vote here!

When you cast your actual ballot, you will be deciding how to spend $250,000 of infrastructure funds to improve District 9. In order to vote, you must come to one of the voting sites listed below between March 21-27. You must be ages 14 and older and live in Long Beach Council District 9 or represent a non-profit or business in the district.

Saturday, March 21: Vote Launch & Project Expo   (9 AM - 2 PM)
Location: Houghton Park Community Center, 6301 Myrtle Avenue
Come vote and enjoy free food, music, and activities for the kids!

Sunday, March 22: Light & Life Church   (9:30 AM - 1 PM)
Location: Light & Life Church, 5951 Downey Avenue

Monday-Thursday, March 23-26: Main Voting Site   (2 PM - 7 PM)
Location: Council District 9 Field Office, 6509 Gundry Avenue

Friday, March 27: Main Voting Site (extended hours!)   (7:30 AM - 5 PM)
