The School of Sexuality Project "Sexapalooza"
Let’s face it—school sex ed barely scratched the surface. That’s where The School of Sexuality Project comes in. We’re making sex ed fun, and unapologetically bold. Imagine if your best friend teamed up with Bill Nye and Cardi B—yeah, it's like that!
This summer, we’re turning up the heat with 3 FREE festivals celebrating all things sex-ed. It's giving, Smart and Spicy Summer!
Expect games, food, music, workshops, crafts, freebies, and full-on vibes—plus real talk about bodies, boundaries, pleasure, and protection.
Each festival has its own theme:
Playful Pop-Up: Think kawaii meets the 626 Night Market with a K-pop twist. Snap cute pics, snack on fun treats, and yes—learn about the penis and the vulva (what’s a vulva? It's the real name for a vagina. Boom, knowledge!). It's adorable and educational.
Steamy Summer Soirée: Are you a cottagecore cutie? Grungecore legend? Dreamcore diva? Y2k icon? This is your party. Come dressed to slay, dance the night away, and pick up everything you need to protect your glow (and your health).
Freak Fest: Spooky season comes early! We’re diving deep into STI prevention with a hauntingly good time. Learn how to protect yourself while screaming (in fun, not fear).
All events are: Free, Teen-only (student ID required, no adults allowed!) A safe space to be yourself, ask anything, and learn everything
Ready to make sex ed actually cool? Vote for us and let’s make this summer sexy, safe, and smart AF

Queersplanation "Off Script: A Youth-Led Summer of Community Care"
Off Script is a youth-led summer program empowering Long Beach youth ages 14–17 and 18–24 through creativity, wellness, and community care.
Who told you who to be?
Off Script is freedom.
A summer invitation to step beyond lines drawn for you,
to pick up the pen and reclaim your story.
For six weeks in Long Beach,
youth ages 14–17 and 18–24
gather in two intentional circles
to laugh, heal, create, and connect
with others who truly see them.
Imagine paddleboarding into courage,
painting truths in colors unseen,
breathing confidence on nature walks,
or certifying hands to save lives through CPR.
Every adventure, every workshop,
a step closer to you.
Here, trauma-informed isn’t just a buzzword—
it’s knowing your voice matters,
your boundaries sacred,
your identity celebrated—especially uplifting
BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth.
Off Script is more than a program.
It’s a radical rewriting,
a reclaiming of space,
a community stitched together
by honesty, empathy, and care.
This summer,
leave performance behind
and step into belonging.
Your story matters.
Write it your way—Off Script.
